INISAT
Training in "small satellites" accessible to all
INISAT is a consortium of higher education institutions, initiated by CNES, whose operating model is open, collaborative and democratic.
Each partner contributes its know-how and expertise to further advance nanosatellite teaching and training.
An INISAT member thus expresses its own commitment to educational innovation, research and excellence.
Project presentation
All of Easy-Space’s actions are carried out in complete synergy and complementarity with the INISAT consortium. Easy-Space works with and on behalf of all members of this consortium, but this is not exclusive.
INISAT is an educational initiative, officially launched by CNES on 19 June 2019. It originated from the interest shown by many teachers in educational kits already existing and tested during 2017 and 2018.
After evaluation, the universities and schools that took part in this study unanimously agreed to develop their own educational material, 100% French and 100% open-source, without in any way excluding international partnerships (which are in fact sought after, notably as part of the “Espace Solidaire” initiative promoted and encouraged by CNES).
Thus the INISAT project was born, aiming to make all educational activities related to nanosatellites accessible to as many students as possible (from physics through engineering, technical development and integration, to testing and operations).
